The Quality Council of India (QCI) has developed the “Accreditation Standard for Quality
School Governance”. The Mission of QCI is to lead nationwide quality movement in India by
involving all stakeholders for emphasis on adherence to quality standards in all spheres of
activities primarily for promoting and protecting interests of the nation and its citizens.
Former President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam emphasized on “a quantitative and qualitative
measure of evaluating educational services leading to the comprehensive qualitative
development of the nation”.
Under the able guidance and leadership of our Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Anju Tandon, Vice
Principal, Mrs. Alka Jayaswal, and Accreditation Co-ordinator, Mrs. Dimple Joneja, we at
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Mehta Vidyalaya took the big step in 2019-20 to go in for the
Accreditation process under Quality Council of India, National Accreditation Board for
Education and Training (NABET). Mehta Vidyalaya was able to implement the standards
laid by QCI and got NABET Accredited in April 2022.
