National Integration Camp

Six students of Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya attended the 14th National Integration Camp in Tirupati from April 21–26, 2026. Participating in quizzes, debates, cultural performances, workshops, and educational visits, students explored India’s diverse heritage. Prisha Arora won the “Turn-a-Coat” competition, while the camp promoted cultural harmony, spiritual growth, and holistic learning.
Menstrual Health Management Session

A Menstrual Health Management session for girls of Classes VI to VIII was conducted on 4 May 2026 at M.M. Hall, in compliance with Supreme Court guidelines. The session aimed to create awareness about menstruation, hygiene, and overall well-being. Students received age-appropriate information on the menstrual cycle, myths were addressed, and healthy hygiene practices were emphasised. The interactive session also highlighted the importance of nutrition, emotional well-being, and reproductive health, encouraging open discussion and helping build confidence among students.
Sitar For Mental Health

A workshop titled “Strings That Calm: Sitar for Mental Health” was conducted on 5th May 2026 for students of Classes XI and XII at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya, Delhi. Organised in collaboration with Fortis and Adayu, the session featured soothing live sitar music to promote mindfulness, emotional well-being, relaxation, and self-awareness among students.
Mock Drill- Drop Cover and Hold

A mock drill on the “Drop, Cover, Hold” technique was conducted during Zero Period to promote earthquake preparedness. Students from Nursery to Class XII participated with discipline and awareness. Teachers explained important safety measures and emergency response guidelines, helping students understand essential do’s and don’ts and enhancing overall safety readiness in school.
Popular science lecture - National Technology day

Class XI science students visited the National Science Centre, Delhi, on May 11, 2026, to celebrate National Technology Day. Chief guest Dr. Rajni Kant from ICMR highlighted India’s healthcare progress toward Viksit Bharat 2047. Granth Batla and Saksham Batra won prizes in the nuclear energy quiz, promoting innovation and awareness

Financial Literacy Club students visited RBI

On 21 April 2026, 19 Financial Literacy Club students visited RBI New Delhi with teachers. They attended sessions on central banking, KYC, digital safety, and fraud awareness. Students were felicitated for a cyber security story competition. The visit included exhibits of textiles and currency, ending with thoughtful souvenir goodie bags.
Foundation of the International Institute for Faculty and Research IIFR

The foundation of the International Institute for Faculty and Research was laid at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on 16 April 2026 by Hon’ble Ram Nath Kovind, the 14th President of India. The programme, presided over by Banwarilal Purohit, featured Prof. Rajendra Srivastava, highlighting experiential learning, NEP reforms, teacher empowerment, and collaboration.
AIB MUN 2026

Class XII students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya participated in AIB-MUN 2026 at Vadodara. Representing the school confidently, they engaged in diplomatic discussions, enhancing public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork. A group of Class XI students visited Patiala House Court on 13 April 2026 with Ms. Ashima Virmani. They observed court proceedings, roles of legal professionals, and courtroom decorum. Interaction with experts enhanced their understanding of the judicial system, legal processes, and careers in law, making the visit insightful and educational.

A group of 19 Class XI students visited Delhi Technological University on 13 April 2026 with Mr. Mukesh Chugh. They explored the Incubator Centre, Drone Lab, and Robotics Lab, observing advanced technologies. Interaction with start-up owners and students made the visit informative, inspiring, and enriching, enhancing their understanding of innovation and practical learning.
45th Blood Donation Camp

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya organized its 45th Blood Donation Camp on 17 April 2026 with the Indian Red Cross Society. Inaugurated by the Principal and Dr. Anupam Prakash, the event promoted empathy and responsibility. Students volunteered enthusiastically, supporting donors and reinforcing the school’s commitment to community service and civic awareness.

A group of 40 students of Class XI visited the Yakult Factory in Sonipat, Haryana on 10th April 2026, accompanied by Ms. Akanksha Malhotra. The visit proved to be highly enriching, offering students first-hand exposure to the industrial production of probiotic beverages. They gained valuable insights into manufacturing processes and the practical applications of probiotics in promoting gut health. Interaction with staff members further broadened their understanding of industrial practices and career opportunities. Students also explored the factory and its facilities.
