Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya hosted the 22ndDewang Mehta Memorial IT Symposium on 10th August, 2022 in collaboration with NASSCOM. This year'sevent conducted both on online and offline mode saw 70 leading schools of Delhi-NCR including 14 Bhavan’s schools from Pan India and 4 international schoolsparticiting in 9 events, with ‘Graphica’ especially for Children With Special Needs (CWSN).
Ms. Rama Vedashree, CEO, Data Security Council of India (DSCI) was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
Calling this event as a robust platform, Dr. (Smt) Anju Tandon, Principal, Mehta Vidyalaya said that the competition will infuse in the students IT innovation and entrepreneurship skills.
Shri. Rajesh Mishra, Registrar, BVBspoke about the legacy of Late Dewang Mehta and hisvision which is carried forward through the competition every year.
Ms. Rama Vedashree, Chief Guest, congratulated the winners and further added that students must be responsible online users and respect online privacy.
Somerville School, Vasundhara Enclave bagged the Winner’s Trophy with Tagore International School, East of Kailash standing as the Runners-up. Office Bearers of TechEdge and TechBotix Clubs were honoured for their outstanding contributions & competent management of DMMITS.
