Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya, nestled in New Delhi, is a Senior Secondary Public School. It had its inception as a community service project in April, 1954. Its management was taken over by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan after Delhi home of the Bhavan was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 18th May, 1957. In pursuit of advancing both academic excellence and cultural understanding, BVB Mehta Vidyalaya, India, and Aintree Elementary School, Australia, embarked on a collaborative action research initiative. Under this project on 24.7.24 girl students of both the schools interacted and communicated one on one with the help of state-of-the-art IT Lab of our school.. The Astronomy club of the school conducted its fourth hands-on workshop on the theme Lunar & Planetary Observation & Capturing the night sky for the students of classes 5-9 on 23/02/24. The students learnt to use DSLR camera for night photography. They saw the Moon, Jupiter, star Sirius, Pleiades and Orion Nebula using telescope in the school playground.

Legal studies students of class XI visited Patiala Court to witness National Lok Adalat where disputes in the court are compromised amicably. The students visited different Court Rooms to observe Proceedings. The students were fortunate to welcome the Acting Chief Justice of High Court- Justice Manmohan who guided them the actual need of coordination in the justice system.
